Facial FAQ's

Why are facials expensive?

Facials are always an investment and quality always comes with a price. When we perform facials we include: Skin Analysis, Double Deep Pore Cleansing, Steam, Hot towels, Exfoliating Mask, Extractions, Facial Massage, pH balancing Toner, Serums, Treatment Mask, Eye Treatment, Moisturizer, Spf and Lip Treatment.

Why do I need a facial?

Facials are beneficial for all of your skincare goals. If you are ready to focus on Anti-Aging, Rosacea, Oily, Acne, Dry, Sensitive skin along with relaxing and relieving stress, facials are for you!

When should I book my next facial?

The skin naturally turns over every 4-6 weeks. We recommend you book your next facial as soon as you receive one for the following month to continue to maximize your results.

How do facials unclog pores?

Our Facials begin with a Double Deep Pore Cleansing with steam to liquefy sebum in your pores. Followed by Exfoliation, and Extractions. You will see and feel a major difference in your pores where you have congestion and clogged pores. We use a BT-Micro that utilizes ultrasonic. This exfoliation device works by creating high speed oscillations vibrating everything out of the pores, and to the surface of the skin (like a Clarisonic Tooth Brush for teeth).

How to prepare for my facial?

We recommend no exfoliation 48 hours prior to the facial, no sun exposure or burning the day before, no Botox 2 weeks before, no waxing 48 hours prior to the facial, wear clothing that is comfortable to you, skip the exfoliation at home after your facial for at least a week, avoid tanning beds (it will affect your results) & know the names of the products you are utilizing or snap a picture of them to show your Esthetician as this will help us determine if we need to make a different recommendation.

Should I wash my face before my facial?

No. We want to see your skin and how its responding to your daily skincare regimen. Washing your face directly before a consultation inhibits us from seeing and touching the oil or moisture present on the skin. Washing before hinders our Estheticians from determining your skin type/condition(s). We need to see how your skin is reacting to your skin care regimen at that specific time of the day.

How often should I get a facial?

We recommend a facial at least once a month due to your skin's life cycle. Allowing your Esthetician to take care of your skin monthly along with following your home care will deliver the results you are looking for.

What is a Skin Analysis?

A Skin Analysis is when our Licensed Estheticians look at, and feel your skin for texture, dryness, oiliness, acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines/wrinkles, and/or redness/rosacea.

What is a Double Deep Pore Cleansing?

During your Facial you will receive 10 minutes of Steam during the Cleansing from your Licensed Esthetician with a Cleanser suitable for your skin type/condition(s). The Cleanse is done twice with facial massage movements to remove makeup, dirt, oil, moisturizer, spf, and soften sebum before exfoliation, and extractions.

What is an Exfoliating Mask? An Exfoliating Mask is selected by your Licensed Esthetician during your Skin Analysis to help exfoliate away dead skin, focus on your skin condition(s), and smooth out your texture while focusing on Anti-Aging as well.

What are Extractions?

Facial Extractions are when your Esthetician clears clogged pores. We utilize a tool called a BT Micro that utilizes Ultrasonic to shake dirt, oil, and debris from your clogged pores. Very similarly to an Ultrasonic Tooth Brush. This makes your Facial Extractions less painful than traditional extractions.

What is a Treatment Mask?

Your Esthetician is going to recommend and utilize a Facial Mask that is customized to your skin care concerns to address your skin condition(s). IE: Oily, Acneic, Dry, Dehydrated, Redness, Rosacea, Sensitive, Sun Damaged, Firming, and/or Anti-Aging.

Who can receive a Facial?

Teens, Women, Men, you, your friends, and family.
