Who can get waxed?
Anyone 13 years of age and older. Parental Consent is needed for ages 13-17. Providing there are no Contraindications for area(s).
What kind of wax will be used?
A top quality European wax great for Sensitive Skin. Depending on the area will determine Strip Wax or Hard Wax.
What is aftercare like?
No Sun, Sauna, or Sweat exposure for the first 24hrs. Your pores are open, and skin has just been freshly exfoliated. Exfoliation 2-3 times a week is recommended with moisturizer to keep skin silky, smooth.
What about Ingrown hairs?
Providing you are exfoliating with your Exfoliating Mitt, and/or Ingrown X-It Solution followed by moisturizing you should be bump free.
Why Should I Wax?
Waxing removes the hair from the root leaving you smooth for 3-4 weeks. You'll notice the hair grow back less, and thinner unlike with razors.This eliminates razor burn, stubble, cuts, and hours spent shaving weekly..
When should I get waxed?
For optimum results you should get your first wax after allowing hair to grow 3 weeks after shaving/trimming This allows all three stages of hair growth, and exfoliation will stimulate even hair growth.
How do I prepare?
It is best to stay away from caffeine for 3-4 hours prior to your waxing treatments. Caffiene will make you more sensitive.
How often should I get Waxed?
This is different for everyone, but typically every 3-4 weeks. Over time you may be able to go 4-6 weeks.
What can I expect after waxing?
Everyone has different skin. Some may experience a little tenderness, or inflammation, while others do not. You will be pleased with your results that you'll never want to use a razor again!
How soon will my hair grow back?
Typically 3-4 weeks after your first waxing treatment providing you waited 3 weeks prior to your first wax. If you did not wait 3 weeks you may experience stubble after a waxing treatment within the first week or two weeks.
Does it hurt?
Experts recommend pain relief 30 minutes prior to a Waxing Treatments. There will be some discomfort, but with my perfected technique the process is quick, tolerable, and you'll feel silky, smooth after!
